Hello 2008. I’d like to introduce myself. My alter ego’s name is Shaevoyuer or you can call me Shae. I’m a media producer and video geek in San Francisco. Thus far I’ve been contributing to the world producing short documentary films and Internet video exalting and dissecting themes of gender, sexuality, location, coming of age and sex. I’ve always been a journalist of sorts-meaning I have 7 volumes of diaries filled up beginning from age seven and countless photo albums of adventures. When I was 14 I literally woke up one morning and realized I was a big queerdo, since then I’ve had this passionate commitment to the queer/LGBT community and culture.

I want to continue on that path with this new blog, as well as move forward on some new projects with y’all. One of my passions is to travel and search out the underground queer worlds. I hope to create and produce a queer women’s and trans travel guide with y’all and make it accessible to anyone with an Internet connection. This blog will act as the community connection between me and my next co-host in Germany or Portland, Oregon. So hook it up. I need all you out there to spread the word so we can hang out next time I’m in your stomping ground. I’ll buy you a drink!

Oh yeah, and one of my big dreams is to be on the next season of the L Word. I did tons of theatre in high school…doesn’t that count for anything? Does anyone else have this dream? Maybe you can help me out with this too. I think Max could use a new friend.
