Hot Situation Trailer is up! Sao Paulo, Brazil April 30, 2008
In the premiere episode of Hot Situation, Leticia takes us into the Jardims district of Sao Paulo, Brazil to visit some queer/lesbo hot spots along or hidden beside Augusta St. At one of the popular clubs, we go backstage to hang out and interview the Brazilian electro pop baile funk band Impostura. Check out the trailer now and I’ll save the rest for later.I’ll tell you a little secret. This trailer has been close to finished for a while now. Along the journey, we picked up various artists who have been collaborating on the project including Sons Foxy who wrote and produced the song, as well as other design artists and photographers for the intro animation, maps, and the Hot Situation travel website (coming soon with the full episode). Now we’re a big happy family of queer culture enthusiasts.

BTW, the gayest thing on this beach are my feet. Sorry, I didn’t get a pedicure for the photo shoot.
What’s the difference between southern American food and Caribbean Soul food? Any foodies out there? Well, my response is Sarah Kirnon the chef and co-owner of the restaurant the
She’s the one on the left in case you were confused. (Sorry, we look funny. The photographer forgot tell us she was taking photos during the video interview)Hot Situation travel visited the Front Porch this past Sunday and learned about Caribbean style soul food from a Barbados native, why they chose name the Front Porch (rocking chairs anyone?), and why the restaurant seems to be a hot spot for the ladies. We’re still not sure if it’s Sarah herself or the magic she works with her hands….it must be the combination. Check back for the San Francisco Hot Situation video travel guide this June.
