The Front Porch Restaurant - San Francisco April 18, 2008
What’s the difference between southern American food and Caribbean Soul food? Any foodies out there? Well, my response is Sarah Kirnon the chef and co-owner of the restaurant the Front Porch - she has all the answers.
She’s the one on the left in case you were confused. (Sorry, we look funny. The photographer forgot tell us she was taking photos during the video interview)Hot Situation travel visited the Front Porch this past Sunday and learned about Caribbean style soul food from a Barbados native, why they chose name the Front Porch (rocking chairs anyone?), and why the restaurant seems to be a hot spot for the ladies. We’re still not sure if it’s Sarah herself or the magic she works with her hands….it must be the combination. Check back for the San Francisco Hot Situation video travel guide this June.
